"Dancing Through Prevention: Linda's Journey"

How Simple Plant-Based Living Became Her Health Insurance

Before discovering Well Your World, Linda was eating the Standard American Diet. Her health was generally good (knock on wood), but she had been diagnosed with Osteopenia and was pre-diabetic.

The thing is, Linda wasn't in crisis mode. She wasn't dealing with a major health emergency or debilitating symptoms. But she could see where things were headed if she didn't make a change. Her journey needed to focus on prevention—not letting her Osteopenia or pre-diabetes progress. That realization became her wake-up call and turning point.

She wasn't going to wait for things to get worse. She was going to be proactive.

Discovering Simplicity

"I don't quite remember how I came across your site online, but love the simplicity of it, and love it," Linda says.

That simplicity was key. She started watching videos, making recipes, and buying WYW products. Her "aha moment" was realizing how simple plant-based eating could be. The live streams became an important part of her transformation, giving her inspiration, community, and practical tips she could implement right away.

Linda would describe herself as about 80% plant-based now, working her way toward 100%. "I do think about food a lot, but love how I can learn and cook plant based meals," she shares. Her energy levels have remained steady, and she stays very active, moving her body regularly.

Life Now: Line Dancing and Better Choices

Today, Linda continues staying active and has become particularly passionate about line dancing. She's focused on putting better food into her body and eliminating what doesn't serve her. It's not about perfection—it's about progress.

Prevention remains her primary focus. She's managed to avoid major health issues, though she's still working on losing some additional weight. But the bigger picture is clear: she's taking control of her future health, one meal at a time.

Her typical eating pattern revolves around 10-minute meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with snacks in between. Batch cooking is challenging for her except for soups in the fall and winter, which she makes in batches and freezes.

That's the beauty of Linda's approach—she's found what works for her. Simple, quick meals that fit into her active lifestyle without requiring hours in the kitchen.

Linda's Advice: Start Small

When asked what advice she'd give to someone just starting out, Linda is clear: "Do not go all in at one time, start small by making one plant based meal a day, and progress from there. Listen and learn from Dillon and Reebs."

Linda is living proof that you don't have to be perfect to see results. You don't have to wait for a health crisis to make a change. You can start small, stay consistent, and trust the process—all while line dancing your way to better health.
