"From 267 to ONEderland: How Simplicity Changed Everything for Marie"
Marie's Journey
By her sixties, Marie watched the scale climb steadily upwards. She’d attempted a plant-based diet before, but it felt overwhelming: too complicated, too restrictive, too much work.
In August 2023 a Facebook advertisement drew her toward the Redline Challenge. At first she felt it might be simple and doable, but even that program eventually proved too involved and complicated.
She started looking for other recipes, other voices. And that’s when WellYourWorld appeared.
Her wake-up call was staring back at her from the scale; 267 pounds.
Discovering the Simple Approach
Marie found Dillon on YouTube, and she LOVED his easy-going, stress-free, non-judgmental ways. His corn potato chowder became her weekly go-to; a “dump soup” that the makes with her own spin. The hash brown casserole became a staple; made even better with WellYourWorld’s cheese sauce mix.
What really made the difference was accessing the resources—YouTube videos became her foundation, and from there she dove deeper into everything WYW offered. The recipes worked. They were simple. They were doable. And most importantly, they actually tasted good.
"EASY PEASY!!! Dillon and Reebs are the BEST!! GREAT advice, suggestions, and how-tos…" Marie says enthusiastically.
Marie and her husband are homebodies; no restaurants, no gatherings, just them and Boo Kitty. Social pressure never entered the picture. And even if it had, Marie wouldn’t have cared.
What's interesting is how her relationship with food has completely shifted. When she opens Boo Kitty’s canned tuna and chicken, the smell makes her gag. Same thing at the grocery store; those deli smells from frying food turn her stomach. Her body has now recalibrated entirely; now recognizing what real nourishment looks like.
The Transformation Timeline
August 2023: Marie started at 267 pounds.
Two years later (October 2025): She's down to 197 pounds—finally in ONEderland!
Marie went from 267 to 197 in 2 years. At 68 her husband outpaces people half his age in their neighborhood. Considering the environmental toxicity Marie figures they’re pretty damn healthy.
When they decided to go WFPB, they went all in and never looked back. Sometimes you have a "memory" of something and think, "Um! That sounds good!" But when you look at the bigger picture, that's a fleeting memory that doesn't last.
Life Now
They started this in August 2023 and never looked back. Boo Kitty can actually get on Marie's lap now! Her husband will be 69, and is still mobile, active, and works a very physical job.
Their family is miles away and not interested in truth, diet, or health. Marie's husband has turned on a few people at his work, but they're not really serious. "So, we just do us, and let everyone else do them!"
Marie doesn't eat as much as she did when she first started. But they eat lots of everything: fruits, veggies, pastas, rice, potatoes, even breads, crackers, and chocolate. She does batch cooking and whips up a pot of "dump soup" for her husband's lunches. They keep lots of canned goods, frozen and fresh stuff on hand.
"LOVE 10-minute meals. Need a cook book!!" she says. "I use a lot of Dillon's recipes, except I change things to make it what we LOVE!! OMG!! The McREEBS SAUCE!!! AWESOME—even on salad!!"
Marie's Advice: Keep It Simple
"DON'T COMPLICATE THINGS—KEEP IT SIMPLE!! One day—one meal at a time. If ya really want something, then HAVE IT—ENJOY IT—MOVE ON!!!"
Marie’s philosophy is simple; no room for wallowing or feeling sorry for yourself. "I messed up—let me continue!” She’s tried her hand at all sorts of dishes; some great, some less successful. She's tried tofu, but it doesn't work for her.
"Take what you LOVED, and PLANTICISE it. Make what you ENJOY, not what others like or do; ie, TOFU!!!"
Here's what Marie wants everyone to know about Well Your World: "WYW is just a DIFFERENT bird!! They are REAL, AUTHENTIC, FUNNY, SMART, and have one hell of a business model!! Other business/food models are good and offer products, but WYW is THE BEST!!!"
Two years in, 70 pounds down, and Marie is finally in ONEderland. Her husband is about to turn 69 and he's thriving. They're living proof that it's never too late to change everything, and that keeping it simple is the secret to making it stick.
