No More Boring Salads...These 3 Will Blow Your Mind

Tired of boring, flavorless salads with the same ingredients? Luckily, we have three simple and satisfying salad recipes that will excite your taste buds. These salads only use whole food plant-based ingredients, and are free of salt, oil, and sugar. Enjoy these healthy salads that will leave you feeling amazing instead of weighed down by salt, oil, and sugar!
The first salad we threw togther was a Chopped Broccoli Salad tossed with WYW Sweet Mustard Dressing. The combination of fresh broccoli, grapes, and red onion really makes this salad unique. This salad will not get soggy, so it is great for potlucks or batch prepping.

Chopped Broccoli Salad
This salad has the crunch you are looking for!
Ingredients:
- 2 broccoli crowns, chopped small
- ½ medium red onion, diced
- 1-½ cups red grapes, halved
- ⅓ cup slivered almonds (optional)
- ⅓ cup raisins (or cranberries)
- ¾ cup WYW Sweet Mustard Dressing
Instructions:
Add everything to a large mixing bowl and stir well to combine.
Add additional dressing if you prefer your salad saucier. Enjoy!
The second salad we whipped up was a Spicy Mango Sald drizzled with WYW Sweet Heat Dressing that gives it the perfect balance of sweet with a kick. We loved the sweetness of the fresh mango, crunch of the tortilla, and the bite of the arugula in this one. This is the perfect summertime salad!

Spicy Mango Salad
Refreshingly unique salad!
Ingredients:
- 3-4 corn tortillas
- 2 handfuls fresh spinach, chopped
- 2 handfuls fresh arugula, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- ½ cup WYW Sweet Heat Dressing
Instructions:
Chop the corn tortillas into strips and air fry or bake at 400°F for just a few minutes until crispy, keeping an eye on them so they do not burn. Set aside.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the dressing, to a large mixing bowl and toss well.
To serve, top with dressing and tortilla strips, and enjoy!
The last salad we prepared was a Sweet Potato Kale Salad tossed with our WYW Balsamic Vinaigrette. We really loved how starchy and satisfying this salad is because of the sweet potato and chickpeas. This one is absolutely amazing served warm, but it is also delicious served cold too!

Sweet Potato Kale Salad
Delicious warm or cold!
Ingredients:
- 1 sweet potato, peeled and chopped
- 1 bunch fresh kale, chopped
- 1 15 oz. can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- ½ cucumber, chopped
- ½ red onion, chopped
- ¾ cup WYW Balsamic Vinaigrette
Instructions:
Add the sweet potatoes to a steamer basket and steam for about 7 minutes or until they are just a few minutes from fork tender.
Add the chopped kale and continue steaming along with the potatoes for about 3 more minutes. The kale should be fluffy and bright green, but not overcooked and mushy.
Add the potatoes and kale to a large mixing bowl along the remaining ingredients and toss well. Enjoy this one hot or cold, it’s delicious!
