This soup is unique because we used split peas for the starch instead of rice or quinoa. We love cooking the split peas until they are al dente, but you can always cook them longer!

Alright, we know that Irish Stew isn’t technically a soup, but we still think it deserves to be on the list. This recipe is so hearty and rich in flavor that you are going to want to make it again and again!
You do not need to have excellent chopping skills to make this stew, making it great for beginners and seasoned veterans alike! Additionally, you can make this stew more soup-like by using the immersion blender to make it more creamy.
